Mind if I just try & gather some information from everyone? I'm sure it's been discussed before, but I'm not having any luck just browsing around.

1. How long have you been playing?

4. I like their appearance at setup. The top line is rather thin and the clubhead looks relatively small compared to many, more forgiving sets.

5. I don't like that they aren't as forgiving as I would like. I can't hit them as far as other sets I've used, and this is partially due to them being a couple degrees higher in loft than many newer sets. The leading edge doesn't seem 'sharp' to me and I don't get the feeling I can confidently 'hit down' on the ball. Hitting the 3 iron is pretty much out of the question for me.

Mizuno MX 23's

4. What do you like about them? Look great at address, moderately forgiving.

5. What do you dislike about them? I've hit the MX 900's and thought for a minute, did I buy the wrong set? I couldn't believe how forgiving the MX 900's were.

Depends on the course and slope but usually scratch to 3 under.

Mizuno MP-33's 2-PW Standard length and Lie a couple delofted

4. What do you like about them?

Easy to hit, like the feel, meet my appearance criteria.

5. What do you dislike about them?

they are not MP-14's

5) A little to much weight in the heel for me, pretty easy to hook/pull the short irons.

4. What do you like about them? They're Mizuno, they're blades, they're forgiving, they look nice and they shape the ball well

4. What do you like about them? Feel and looks. My first forged set and they play beautifully.

5. What do you dislike about them? The idiot holding them when are swung but not much else

5. Nothing, they are forged cavity back perfection. Not a better option on the planet. Honestly, the only thing I dislike is the fact they get dinged up easy. Playability, I have no interest in any other irons at any price.

I'm currently playing to a 18, but it's all chipping that kills it. I really should be a 10.

My irons are Tommy Armour 845 V-25. Dynalite Gold Regular Flex shafts. These are Forged "blades" although they really are VERY forgiving irons. I love them. They look great at address, play out of fairway bunkers beautifully, and inspire confidence. My mishits are predictable (loss of distance) and I sense none of the jarring that forged clubs are supposed to have when mishit. I really believe that these "blades" are perfect irons for a mid-capper looking for a smooth and comfortable club with some GI features. I'm very happy that I found these brand new for $150 on eBay (I did re-shaft and re-grip them, so I've got about $300 in them).

I can't think of anything that I don't like (since the re-shaft), other than the fact that I bought the GW, SW, and LW to match the set, and those wedges are nowhere near as sweet as the Srixon WG-504's I'm currently loving. They're not even in the same league as the Cleveland 588's, CG10's, 900's, Titleist Vokeys, Ping Tours, or Adams Puglielli's that the Srixons have kicked to the curb.

King Cobra 3400I (includes PW and GW as they were all part of the set)

4. What do you like about them?

Consistency, high trajectory, good "feel" (which is the most important to me)

5. What do you dislike about them?

What's not to like? Wouldn't have bought them if there was something I didn't like....

5. What do you dislike about them? HUGE top line and really chunky... Got them when I was playing off 26.
