Just putting some spare clubs on ebay and I was searching for roughly how much to list my clubs at and i came across this;-

Thing is I've got one exactly the same zip code but without slazenger and Jack Nicolaus written on the sole. Is this the reason that sold for £500+ (thats about $1000 usd) or is mine worth that as well. I got mine for a fiver or something silly like that can't remember now.

I would bet that is the reason why, the slazenger/jack nicklaus is stamped and not cast into the putter.

Mine says on the back 'Karsten Phoenix, Az 85029 Made in the USA'

thats the good one, if its in good shape, then its worth quite a bit. i dont see where it says jack nicklaus? i think they go for about a grand without the nicklaus stamp where ever it is.

I've also got a Ping My Day putter. The back on that says 'made in USA U.S. pat. no. D231375 karsten mfg. corp phonix az 85020' hope these are both worth as much as that one.

Lol,we have already told you this once They only made a few Jack Nicklaus Slazenger Ansers,about 200 hundred I think and the same number for Gary Player,so they worth several thousand dollars.The 85029 is not rare and is only worth a small premium over most others,unless its an original Scottsdale,but it won't be be being an 85029 whicj was one of the first models made in Phoenix,not Scottsdale.

If it is a Dalehead it would be worth a few hundred.

Cheers Dave I've listed it as a rare Anser anyway, you never know, I might get lucky and find 2 new Ping collectors who don't really know their stuff get into a bidding war? I was thinking of maybe having Slazenger and Jack Nicklaus stamped into the sole. Post it to the US everyones happy, lol.
