Driver - Sasquatch vs R7 Draw

I'm looking to get a new driver and I'm leaning towards these two. Would appreciate any comments you might have on these drivers.

Thanks.

I've hit both. I really couldn't get around how huge that SQ head looks. Really messed with me. I also did not get a chance to hit it with any shaft that was remotely suited to me. The R7 draw was a nice feel. I could have closed my eyes and hit the sweet spot on that driver. Both good choices for a forgiving driver, I am partial to the Taylormade.

You need to get on a launch monitor and see which gives you the longest carry. I did that with the idea I was going to get a HiBore and walked out with a Rapture. Don't LOCK yourself in to just two clubs or just one loft, shaft flex, shaft brand etc. There might be something else out there that will do a much better job for you.

Look at the SQ Tour model too. It has a much more "normal" looking 460cc head.

Personally, I don't care what my driver looks like as long as it gets the job done. Once I get setup, I don't look at the club head anyway...

I swung both today on the launch monitor at Golfsmith. I ended up with the r7 Draw 9° regular flex. Feels really good... now I just hope that it works as well when I finally get the chance to hit on the range or course.... haven't a clue when that might happen though. I didn't like the SQ, either the look of it or the ball flight... seemed to tend to take off right.

r7 Draw For Me

Never tried the SQ, but I went from a 580XD to the r7 Draw 10.5 and could not be happier. On the course, the 10+ yards of correction means I'm now almost always in the fairway and my confidence with the driver is at an all-time high! I'm not drawing the ball, but my fade is really consistent and I have to make a horrible swing to produce a real slice...

Just my .02

SQ is a good club. sssmokin hits his 300+ and straight (a**hole ) and I watched another tiny little guy just creaming them with one. So I've never tried it but I've witnessed it working pretty darn good in someone else's hands.... (you guys worry too much about looks)

If you can wait another month the Nike will be able to be picked up for a song when the sumo comes out. I hit the sumo great, but I just couldn't stand looking at the powerbow so i painted it black too match the clubhead

If you have a natural fade, want to get rid of it, but don't want the work that it takes, use the r7 Draw.

If you want an ugly driver, that's silly and stinky, use the SQ.
