I have just ho'ed....

...a mint set of Taylor Made's new TP Rac MB's with Project x shafts for £311.

I put in a bid for them last week during their first listing for £390. £400 won it, although I was sent a second chance offer. The guy then proceeded to relist the item and I won with a bid of £311.

Gonna scrape together the funds and try them once or twice beofre hopefully selling them on for more.

I reckon leaving it for a few weeks until closer to the golfing season might allow for a higher final priced auction.

Second chance offers always make me wonder whether the seller was bidding them up himself.I always tell them to **** off if they offfer me a second chance.

Good luck with them. You might want to keep them. What are you playing now? Still the 300's?

Yeah mate. To be honest, though, I have hardly hit a ball the last couple of months. Am dying to get back into it as deep down I love this great game. Will get out 2 or 3 times this week, hopefully. Weather is set to be bad, though Am going to this Mizuno Fitting Centre, but *could* keep these and just knock 'em up a degree or two, not sure.
Will try out the 7-iron certainly. They are beautiful, like

Dave: Was defo sus' in that department. I am guilty of doing the same thing, though - getting mates to occasionally boost things for me. Lots of folk I know do the same so I thought it was commonplace. Your man may have got caught out doing it here and if so, has defo paid the price.

Kiwi: They are 6.0's ..

Yeah, it is up over the 1.90USD to the £ now, Dave. Just hope it doesn't signal less and less Yankiedoodledandies coming over to play on these shores...

Lets hope it satys up there as I'm planning on getting a Cally FT-I shipped from the States. I rekon even with the import duties and shipping costs it will still work out cheaper to get one shipped over than buy one over here and hopefully they'll be available sooner that way. God bless America!!!
