Grafalloy Epic - the new Era of Shafts

Grafalloy will debut the Epic shaft at the PGA this week, and new shaft with nano technology that blends graphite and steel's technology.

It's not graphite, and it's not steel. It's a propriatary material made at a molecular level. Initial testing reveals 35% tighter dispersion than any previous Grafalloy model.

Driver shafts are $140, fairways $100 per.

Are these on the heavy side? It would probably be steel fibers in a graphite matrix. I'll search this out more...

Strange that they have them on the Golfsmith website, but do not yet have them on the True Temper site

BTW, WBL the specs on Golfsmith say 68-76g.

I wasn't overly impressed with their Comp NT and the Bimatrix is kind of a flop. I'll pass too..

I was thinking the same thing. For $140 I want to see some good artwork.

Nah, I'm not gunning for one of these. I'm happy with my Evo's.

I personally like the gothic look on these. Very decent. Better than the Axis, that's forsure.

I thought you were on the Comp NT bandwagon last year in the TEE? What happened?

If you remember, I didn't like it after a week. It wasn't in the TEE it was in the Launcher Comp. And I also said I didn't hit it good only once in awhile. It was not worth the dollars I spent.
