TM 200 Steel FW's- any thoughts ?

I have had a TM 200 steel 5 wood for 2 years and LOVE IT!! I just picked up the 3 wood and reshafted them both with Pro Launch Blues. I have not hit the 3 wood yet due to the snow. Anyone besides me think these are great inexpensive fairway woods ?

True dat. Never bettered, never equalled imo. the 200 remains the only 13 degree wood I've been able to get up in the air.

I have never hit one but they are supposed to be one of the best. My favorite 3 Wood to date is the 904F.

I will agree on this - to a point.

These are the best product TM has ever made. Period.

What ??!

They're good, but def. not "the best they've made...!"

I had a wee 200 5-wood and sold it to a mate a while ago. It is his fav. club in the bag, although he does play Jack Nicklaus Muirfield irons he got in 1986 and a Vantage Eliminator 3-wood that was around when I begin playing the game 13 years ago or so. lol

In my opinion, the 200 steels are the most solid and forgiving fairways that TM has ever produced.

Many, like your bud there, still use them to this day as nothing that they've made afterwards can sway even the most fickle of TM fan.

That says something right there.

Yeah, maybe so, but this guy would be as least up to spec on golf club equipment as is humanly possible He is a steady as **** 6-handicapper, too. Great guy to play with as he has great experience.

Did you mean they're the best fairways that they have produced ? I wouldn't argue against that point at all, although I did like the wee 300 head on the fairways...
