Here we go again...

Just won another MP-R in a 56-10. I was not going to stay with these wedges but had to throw in a starting bid on one at $69 and won it. Oh well, maybe I can get used to them. That 56 will play like a 62 laid open.

Someone needs to start a counter/ scorecard here - it's early enough in the year to get it going - to track who buys the most clubs or shaft/heads in 2007 (or who sells them, or even both!). I've only been in this forum for a bit, and I've lost track of who's the biggest ho!

No, I have not played the CG-10's. I almost switched to them... had I won the used CG-10 BP before the MP-R I would be. The MP-R has the grind which makes it so much different than any wedge, or club for that matter, that I have ever hit. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I do not. It is much more versatile than a standard wedge but with that comes more difficulty.

The Mizzy feel is second to none in the wedge department. Once you get hooked, you can't let them go.

I've had a Taylormade TP wedge, not all that great and less feel than a Mizzy. Never hit a Cleveland but would try them, are they forged? Then Titleist, spin-milled , my wedges tear the ball up enough as it is, I don't need the added "cheese grater" effect.

Agreed. Cleveland's aren't forged, TM's are decent, but lack feel. Titty's aren't my bag.

Second to NONE.

I was in the golf shop yesterday and asked about the MP-R wedges. The club fitter looked around the store and asked "Do we know anything about the MP-R wedges?" The guy at the counter replied "Know them? Every single one of us in this shop plays them!" Appearently they all switched from whatever they had before. My thoughts...SOLD!

Yep. Most underrated and overlooked clubs out there. Look through Golf Digest, you'll see Vokey and Cleveland ads, and not one for Mizuno. They know their true fans will seek them out.
