This has to be a record for me....

I was just browsing some classifieds on another site, and it dawned on me.

I have ZERO drive to ho anything. None.

I'm completely content with my bag. Irons, wedges, putter, fairways and a driver. I have two drivers, no sense picking up a 3rd (like some people I know...).

This is absolute bliss.

Now, I'm taking bets as to how long this lasts. Put me down for August, 2007.

Just like VT did... now we hardly ever hear from him.

I have 2 more to go before I build the next driver and probably a total custom putter... most likely an old one refinished. By then I might be itching for new irons.

I give you until May 2007. You will have a few rounds under your belt at your local courses and find that one of your clubs ain't working the way you want it to. Either that, or you will find a TEE CB2 used on E-bay at too good of deal to pass up.

I was in that state of bliss until Thursday. Now I am on the trail of a new putter and have a new driver in the house. If you get a club for free does that still count as ho'ing?

I'm not surprised Rock.

You have a bag to die for (driver excepted, it's still a frying pan whatever you say) and I wouldn't fiddle with it if I could hit those irons.

He's busy building shit. Woodworking got him. I can't say I blame him. It's an awesome hobby, if you have the scratch to blow on equipment.

Same shit happened to me. Thats half the reason I'm not on here as much. The other half is that i got employed again, and am now a full time student, working 20 hours a week, and I have rehearsals for 2 shows at the same time. That, plus the weather being crappy, me getting into cars (I now have 2 Miatas), and me being poor has prevented me from hoing anything for quite a while. Maybe once golf season starts, but I seriously don't care about clubs anymore. I just want to get rid of mine, except for a set or two.
