Ok, before you start into the jokes....

....there's a bit of a story to this.

I went to the indoor sim tonight. Played very well. Shot +4 at Pinemeadow. Not bad. Hit the driver a ton, fairways well, irons were tight and putted like a champ.

After the round was over, I went the the sim range to hit some drivers. I grab a couple balls out of my bag and start hitting. On the 4th shot with the driver with this brand new HX.Tour 56, this happens. Ball goes about 16 yards on the sim.

I've never seen a high end ball do this - ever. I've seen NXT's crack, Rock Flite's, Pinnacles, but never a 3 peice and I've played them exclusively for years.

I thought you guys might want to see this. Think I should send it to Callaway's R&D division, and maybe include my address should they wish to "compensate" me?

The cool thing is that inside the "mantle" of the ball, you can see the impact zone and the outward radial pattern of shear cosmic power that I unleashed on this ball. Well, it looks pretty cool.

I was blown away by this. I know, I have a pretty simple mind.

$hit balls. They couldn't handle the Hibore. Only ball I've ever had crack was a refurbished NXT.

The reason that happend is because you were using an inferior ball

Ive done that 4 times, once with an HX Tour, twice with Pinnacle Exceptions and once with some strata + something, was the softest ball ever, you could scratch it with your finger nail.

Dude, you gotta Dell!

I think an e-mail to Callaway is warranted. Ship it off to them for inspection at their expense and accept a free dozen they send back your way.

Remember the very early one-piece(?) or two-piece(?) balls (green writing on them)? I've seen one of those break in two pieces but never have seen that until your pic. Weird.

Send that pic to Callaway. They might give you a dozen free balls

That's nothing. Callaway balls spread their legs like that if Tiger's putter casts a shadow over them. Only Nike balls can withstand the earth-shattering resonance of Tiger's putts.

That Ultra is from a tournament I play in every year. Obviously, it's not in my bag.

What's wrong with those pens? Jerk....

Was that back when you had to walk 5 miles, in the snow, up hill just to get to the course.

I took a chunk the size of a dime out of a new Pro V last summer. I hit a normal 7 iron on a par 3 and we all heard the ball whistle after I hit it. I sent it back to Titleist after emailing them a picture. They promised me a new sleeve and it never came. Bastards.
