Adjusting lie angle on cast irons.

Assuming that the lie angles have never been tampered with, how far can you safely bend a cast iron upright? While bending, can you feel a breaking point?

2* max. Some cast irons bend easier than others, way easier. Some are a total bitch. Some may snap almost instantly, I have never had this happend but have heard about it happening.

Go very slowly, apply pressure in small bursts and measure after each push.

I know Pings can be adjusted but limits how much and how many times. Heating (up to 300º F) will also help prevent cracking.

Yep, will also loosen the epoxy up just enough so your heads fly off . Club epoxy breaks down at 250*F.

No where near 250*, I would guess 150* tops.
