whats up shottalk?

I am a member of my university's mens golf team. Our coach just recently passed away and were unfortunately left to ourselves for the off season. I am from Minnesota which makes it hard to get out and practice. We were denied funding for a spring trip to play in Florida since we will not be competing, however, a teammate has a vacation home in Quintero Az. Has anyone ever played the resorts course? or are there any courses worth playing around there? I believe it is in the city of Peoria AZ. Any comments would be greatly appreciate.

Never played it, but the course looks like it sucks: Phoenix Arizona Private Course - Quintero Golf Country Club

Plenty of great courses in and around the Peoria/Phoenix.
