You are promoting your online guide.

Leaving promotion issues aside ... I would highly recommend golf in The Algarve to anyone who is looking to play abroad. Golf in Portugal (to my mind)is on a completely different level to elsewhere in Europe.... my tuppence worth
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I would love to play there. I've heard many great things about it.

AGO - we welcome your participation here. But the moderators of this board have adopted a very strict rule regarding SPAM. You may have wonderful and helpful info on your site, and if you hang around and talk golf with us for a while, you'll be welcome to share your knowledge and experience.

But anyone who comes here and makes self-promotion their very first post, or makes useless posts that are intended only to get their count up to the number required to include URL's in their posts, are simply not welcome.

I hope you are the former, and will be an active member of the board.

I guess it depends on what definition of spam you use.
1.Trademark. a canned food product consisting esp. of pork formed into a solid block. –noun
2.(lowercase) a disruptive, esp. commercial message posted on a computer network or sent as e-mail.

This is not even taking into consideration that your signature is a clear violation of the posted rules of the forum, which you either did not take the time to read or simply chose to ignore entirely.

Since when did being "Genuine" become a determining factor on the nature of Spam?

If you are in fact being "Genuine", it become hard for many to believe when in doing so you are also stomping on the forum rules in other cases. If you want to advertise for your cause, become a paying sponsor. You would then be more convincing in your "genuine" nature. Otherwise it is hard to view this as anything other than the Spam that it is by nature.

  9. I can see the level of dissapointment

Ok, I have now read the rules, yes a typical in a rush newbie normally does not read the rules as many people will know and may have fell foul of before..Signature url removed.

Anyway some Golf Points!! Not had much time for Golf here cause I am working most of the time then relaxing at the weekend.
I have been working in and around the Golfing scene on magazines and graphic design work for some Golf Courses, I have visited a lot of the courses and had tours of 2 of the new ones as they was being built, Monte Rei and Quinta do vale both in the East..
