I just read this great book by a Minnesota native. Larry Berle, a concert promoter, played Gold Digest's America's Top 100 Courses over 10 years. In this book he writes a brief synopsis of each one and gives great details of each experience and game. The title is A Golfers Dream and is perfect gift for anyone who loves to golf.

I have to admit that it smells a little spammy to me as well.

First post is a "you should buy this" - no introduction, no pleasantries. Plus, the author of the book is a "Minnesota native" and the poster's location is, big surprise, listed as Minnesota.

The book itself appears to have a limited publication and isn't even available from Amazon (must go through the "available from these sellers" option); and the author has his own website promoting and selling the book.

Sorry, but it just sounds like a self-publication, self-promotion job to me.
