Not sure what area you're visiting. I spent a couple of weeks in San Jose last April. Most of the courses were private but I did get a chance to play a local public course.

As for your sticks, the rental clubs I used were full Taylormade R7 with a Monza putter. Assuming that nothing has changed, I'd leave my bag at home.

Thanks for the replay, unfortunately we're just heading to Orlando now. Wife doesn't want to go away for a whole week just a few days.
