somewhat near; I live in Vancouver, WA, about 2-3 hrs away. Where are you planning to play? there are a multitude of great options down that way. Aspen Lakes is a must if you have time.

I was planning on getting out to Quail Run, and Widgi Creek. I'll have to check out Aspen Lakes and Black Butte if i'm out near Sisters.

Quail Run is awesome. Best bang for the buck; lots of waste areas though, iirc. haven't played Widgi; but Glaze Meadow at Black butte was an exceptional course. we try to go over every spring, but this year didn't happen. have fun; there are so many good choices; you can't go wrong!
