Thanks, guys. Harry Longshanks told me I needed to get back here and defend womankind. Which is a pretty tall order. I'm reasonably thick skinned and can toss it back, so don't fret.

Whoever asked, I'm in Joisey. Lots of great golf around, though we'll be out of town when the PGA hits Ridgewood next month. The LPGA plays here every spring (Sybase Classic), and I'm always a standard bearer for that. Best golf education you can get.

watching there swings from close up must be a big help in the learning process that we are all still going thru.

No--it's something I did after following Paula Creamer and Lorena Ochoa around at the women's match play a few years back. Fabulous experience, but I decided that if I was going to walk 18 holes with a pro again, I was going to do it INSIDE the ropes. Standard bearer's a great job--no pressure, just stay out of the way and watch everything that happens.

Claire, I will jump in and "help defend womankind" with you.

Hi Guys,
I have been reading through a lot of your discussions...big Paula Creamer fans here huh? (ahem, West Coast Golfer ) Bob, I appreciate the warning to the boys, but I think we know what we are getting into, so feel free to show us that humor guys. I will follow suit and add my what's in the bag next. Looking forward to chatting.

Nice to see you here, Soxngolf.

My daughter is a huge Paula Creamer fan as well, but she probably wears more pink than most folks who post here.

i actually broke down and bought a Salmon colored golf shirt.mostly for the shock value of seeing a big rough looking dude like me in near pink (plus it makes my puny forearms look bigger)and for those of you who have seen a couple of my pics you know thats alot of pink

Hey, if a guy has the confidence to pull off the pink shirt, it can be very attractive. I wouldn't advise any of Paula's outfits though!

Are you saying we'd need to shave to wear her outfits?

Not necessarily, but I'd suggest a lower hemline. The part with the hair ribbons would be interesting as well.

I have a solid pink golf shirt and a couple others with pink in them...it's just a color IMHO.

Now, why wouldn't you advise a guy trying to pull off one of Paula's outfits?
