Thread: Annika lately

(Just wish Lorena could find her game again.)

  2. It is tough to win a tournament when your heart is in it and you are 110% committed anyone who has played in one will tell you but to do so when you have anything but total focus is just about impossible. I hope that she gets at least one more win this year, but I don't think that she is in the right frame of mind to do so. Mostly because every other question she is asked is about the retirement. So good luck Annika, and I am sure that sometime down the road we will see her out on the course again. You just can't keep a competitor like that out of competition.

Hey, didn't someone here say that was exactly what they thought the reason was?

Oh right, that was me.

  5. I think once the mind has been made up the career is coming to an end, it's only human nature to lose that edge Annika once had. I'm sure if she was making a few more putts this wouldn't even be a conversation right now, but it has to be hard knowing there's limited time to go out on a winning note. She's probably putting extra pressure on herself.

I'm pulling for her to finish the year strong. Looks like she's on Lorena's heals this week.

  6. Wow--and we don't have to look farther than Helen Alfredsson to know you can be really competitive into your 40s. I'm almost tempted to change my avatar.

Not unless you have a nude picture of Helen floating around somewhere.

  11. Geez, every single thread ends up in the same place, doesn't it? Helen sure does have a great belly.

My type plays on the other tour, and believe me, it's much better if you leave it all to the imagination.

Harry, you're the one following the NCAA--the men's side of it. Hmmm.

This year, even I'll be following the Wake Forest Women's team--Cheyenne's the only freshwoman on the squad.
