Hey! Paula

LPGA = Ladies Professional Golf Association

Your abuse of your caddy during the Samsung was not the behavior of a lady or of a professional.

A caddy doesn't control the weather or the firmness of a green. He clubbed you correctly. Some professionals were skilled enough to put enough spin on the ball to hold the green.

You won the tournament. Now try acting like a professional.

It's a hell of a lot more fun to watch a feisty American blond stomping around than the Asian robots.

IMHO.

He didn't look too unhappy when he was holding her tight after the victory. Caddies need thick skins.

I would think that anything that brings attention to the LPGA these days is good. I doubt her little tantrum is going to hurt viewership.

I'm not defending Ms. Creamer, but if this is the worst behavior they can muster on the tour, they're pretty darn well-behaved. It's not like anyone is getting arrested for assaulting her boyfriend/husband or anything, after all.

I am defending Creamer I guess. Reading some of the posts it sounds like she nearly killed him with a club and then screamed at him for the rest of the round. Guys sitting in front of the TV can figure out if she was misclubbed but the pro hitting the shot can't.

Whatever the case, Creamer is a winner and she's this guy's meal ticket. I don't know what their deal is, but I'm sure he's one of the top earners on the tour. I doubt if a little ass chewing is going to change that.

Then again, maybe he'll dump Creamer and carry for JD over in Europe.

Oh boo freakin hoo.

You should see the way I talk to my dad out there.

Her attitude isn't the best in the world, but so what? This is a deal between her and her caddy, if he doesn't like it, he can quit.

Oh, and if you plan of going after my post in the "Creamer...4 Wins..." thread, I was joking. Coming from someone who gets fiery first hand, its just one of those things.

I heard that early in the round, Paula left a putt short and on the low side, and the Caddie yelled. "God Dam nit Peach, get the ball to the hole!!!!"

He might have deserved a little abuse after that.

Having caddied for 2 different pros, I feel justified in saying that this type of talk should get you fired as a caddie. Professionalism implies a higher level of talent and behavior. After talking like that to a pro, the caddie is lucky to have a bag to carry. I've seen a looper fired for less than this.

That makes no sense about her caddy. Colin Cann has been on the tour for far longer than she has. He was caddying for Annika Sorenstam 12 years ago, when she started out. I simply cannot believe he'd say that to Creamer, unless they had a professional relationship where it was perfectly okay for him to do so.

Easy there big fella..... Of course he did not say the above. First, how would I know, and secondly, please see the "Highway 18 Discussion Thread" for the "Peach" situation.

I attended more than 75 PGA and Senior Tour events myself, and have had dinners and beers with dozens of caddies and several players, Tour Officials, 90% of the Scoring guys, etc.

Of course the above would get you fired. But, if you followed the Highway 18 Discussion thread, the Peach comment being made from a Caddie to Paula would be hilarious.
