DRIVER TROUBLES

Hello all.My name is Bill,I hail from the landdownunder,
this is my first trip to a golf forum.

my h,cap is 9,and Im having trouble bigtime with the bigdog,is there someone who can give me insight to grip pressure in downswing.

for a month Ive been drilling my drives long and straight, for some inexplicable reason,it has deserted me and im putting it down to grip pressure in downswing.

its pretty much army swing left right etc.
what practice routine can i get to improve down swing and follow thru.

Thanks in advance Bill. ps has anyone tried bio swing

First thing I would check is that you have a big enough grip. If the grip pressure is wrong you may be able to fix it with a bigger grip, or smaller if you have smaller hands, but I would venture to guess you may have to small of a grip. You may be able to get a rough idea if you go to the web fitting on PING : Play Your Best. It will have you measure your hand and middle finger. If it recommends a bigger than normal grip, I would go somewhere with grips that are mounted on shaft ends if that is an option and see what feels best.

Although if you get too big a grip it may lead to not releasing soon enough and laying the ball off to the right. So don't just get bigger, get the right size.

re driver prob

Thanks guys,As usual, when u r practising solo,u have time to sit back and work thru the problem,
I have been working on my grip pressure of late, hitting the straight and long drives with ease,I hardly hold club at all, virtually letting the club do the work.
All of a sudden it all went out the window, naturally I thought it was my g/pressure.
not the case,Guess what,yep, ALIGNMENT.
I went out today and started from scratch--basics.
put a club behind my heels.....ALL BETTER.
Thanks guys
