anyone play without a driver, because i cant hit my driver for shit but i can hit my 3-w 240 and with a slight fade, but my driver slices like a lemon. im thinking about taking my driver out and replacing it with another club.

My driver and 3 wood are sh!t right now. I have been using my 3 hyrid to tee off the last couple of rounds. I am sacrificing a little distance off the tee but playing my 2nd shot from the fairway more.

ive been using my hybrid too...since i got the v2 in my r7 my drive has went to shit...but when i can hit my hybrid 215-230 its not that bad

Don't blame me.

I played a few rounds with just my 13* 3W. I now try to pick my spots to use driver a little more and make sure I use the TS at least once if not more per round. The 21* hybrid with a slight draw is also a cannon. Sometimes a perfect position tee shot with a 7or8i in is a lot better than going nuts and trying to get into wedge range. Especially if the hole plays R to L. L to R I'll pound driver every time.

its not your faullt ezra....i even had him tipp it 1 inch....i read rave reviews but it sucks for my swing....going to get the mas2 back in it

Which MAS2 is it? Does it say "tip firm" and something about the kickpoint?

Dumped my driver completely for a month and just hit 3 wood off the tee. My scoring actually improved by 2-3 strokes a round.

Biggest thing I learned was that you should not swing all out with any "wood" including the driver. Swing at 80% and the shots go much straighter.

I also had that one in my R7 and loved it. So here's the rundown of shafts I liked that are similar... in order of preference.

Diamana Blueboard..thats my next purchase...i took the r7 to dicks and pulled the v2 and put the mas2 back in for 17 bucks

If you can't stomach the price tag... that CompNT is a good choice as well. I had good control with that shaft.
