Fell apart

I played 27 holes yesterday 18 in the morning with my uncles and then when I get home my dad wants to go play 9. I played decent for me that morning with just a few wholes taking it to me. I lost two balls in water and finished the morning round with a 91. That is a little above average for me becasue I have been shoting in the mid 80's lately.

The nine wholes I played yesterday afternoon I just fell apart on. I was I boogied the first whole but followed in up with a chip in for birdie on 2 and then a putt in from off the fringe on 3 and a par on 4 and 5. Then I seems that I couldnt even find the green on 6. It took me for shots and then i made my 8 foot boogy put. Then I pared 7 and got on the 8th tee box even. I took a deep breath and hammer my drive center cut. I was 135 yards out and hit a 8 iron to the middle of the green (pin in the back) and it spins back on me two feet. So I have a 30ft birdie putt and then go one to 3 putt it. So now I am +1 and really would like to try and birdie 9. I hit a booming tee shot with a draw around this corner but when it went down a hill it must have hit the cart path and kicked right into the woods. I didnt have a bad line to the green but i have hitting out of the worse things ever Hard Dirt. I took my shot and left it short in the bunker. Made a nice shot out of the bunker and had an 8 foot putt for par. I then pull to putts in a row and end with a double for a +3. I am blamming it on me being tired and not taking my time with my putting stroke but I hate that I had a great round going and then i just fell apart.

Unlucky, I've been to busy making the game too complicated to shoot a good score.

Sounds familiar. Played last week on a 72.1/128. Shot 43 on the front, a nice front 9 for me, then of course go and shoot 49 on the back for a 92. Would have really liked to be in the 80's but oh well.

lol I had a little trouble comprehending it like Eracer.. but those days will always happen. Sounds like your nine was going unbelievable if you normally shoot mid 80's. You finished about average of what you normally do so no reason to feel completely upset. You showed alot of potential and with some practice and more concentration you could be shooting in the 70's.
