Haha, thanks for the replies guys, Lyle, I checked the bay and found a 95-S for 29.95, but couldn't find any pink ones. EDIT--- Found the pink ones hehe.

Might grab a pink bimatrix to stash from that site you sent me before, 40$ is a great price.

gpo- The reason I was able to post stuff about that with relative obscurity about some parts is that some of the guys here do know a lot of my story and where my game is at. It is very much like a close community here, and I guarantee a core group of members could easily go out every week and play courses together without any problems. If I hadn't welcomed you already, welcome. I am at a level that I do need to squeeze every little benefit from my equipment now, and that is what I'm trying to do as I konw that the shaft I currently have isnt performing anywhere near optimally.

I think gpo mentioned going to a course and practising putting for free, YES!!! I challenge anyone just go to a course near you with a couple balls and a putter and putt for an hour or two, I do ALL THE TIME. If you really feel that guilty go buy a drink from the pro shop or w.e, its a practise green, practise is what it is meant for!!! Probably about a third of my practise time is just straight go there to chip and putt for a few hours, my putter, a sleeve of balls, and one wedge that I may want to focus a certain chip shot on.

Put it anywhere near the flag & you still have a decent shot at birdie without being a big hitter. Granted going real long has it's advantages at times, but it's not required.
There is no one way to play golf, but on par 5s being closer or on the green in two is the best way to make a birdie. Most people are going to get up and down more for birdie more often from 30-50 yards than they will from 100-130 yards.

I agree with that, but for those of us who aren't long hitters it's simply not an option a lot of times. On some courses where it's a dogleg & you can cut the corner, sure maybe, but for a hole that's 550yds straight out, it's going to be 3 shots at least to get there for a lot of us. Personally I love the 160yds & under shots, for some reason I have a high degree of confidence on actually executing such shots.

6-iron from the fairway or wedge from the rough? I will take wedge from the rough every time.

How bout the VS Proto. 70-S?

Piper. Just to let you know. TEE has the tour proto on thier site as a preowned. They have a 10* with a VS 70-S stock and I believe you can return it within 30 days if you don't like it. I think they are like just under $200 after shipping.

best bet make friends with the guys at the stores. They give me the low down on whats going on with the machine especially if its rigged or not. More times than not 5 numbers will be correct: launch angle, SS, Ball speed, spin, and smash. Oh and to the person who say a 7I go 212... Well the machine told me I smashed a 6 240 so yeah downwind much lol!!!

I went and hit drivers at edwin watts and I hit a Ping Driver (Rapture, I think) and it said my average drive was like 225 yards but +/- 7 yards from the center of the fairway. I dont trust the distance on the simulators one bit. I'm 5'9 and around 225 pounds. I consistently hit my driver at LEAST 245-250 yards

I get the best distance from my driver when I'm confident the ball will go where I'm aiming.

I know I hit the ball at LEAST that. I've played on flooded golf courses and hit the ball that far. I have a LOT of carry on my driver.
