Consistently inconsistent.

My scores this year are a lot better than last year but still all over the place. For 9 holes have had as low as 40 & high has been 52. For 18 its been an 83 for low with a 102 as the high. Avg is in the 87-91 area but I know it could be better, just need to keep my head down & relax.

Anyone else all over the board or am I just that screwed up?

Oddly enough, the 41 felt like I played like utter garbage. Talk about hitting 3 terrible shots and one brilliant shot to save a score.

The first time i hit a fairway and a green in reg on the hole i was so excited at first but then started to miss my usual walk through the woods on that hole...no big deal, i was so deep in the forest on the next one and made up for it.

Don't go assuming they are any less prone to poor rounds. 2 guys shot 84 last week at Memorial. That's about like me shooting 112. We only see the guys that are playing well on TV. Every week there are guys missing the cuts that are playing like total garbage. Sergio played last week, where did he finish? Mr. "best ballstriker since Hogan" played like the equivilent of us on a very bad day.

As I guess a lot of us have found out, once you get used to having a few scores in the low 40's & then you shoot an upper 40's rd it really feels as if you shot twice that. Funny how 5-7 extra shots per 9 holes can feel so utterly horrible.

Inconsistent? I've had 3 pars, a quad, and 5 more pars for a smooth 39. (par 35 course)
