Lefty clubs for a good friend

Ok, I have a mission for all my ho'ing friends on here. A good friend of mine wants to get started in golf. But he doesn't have a bunch of money to spend. Let's see what we can come up with. He needs everything, bag, and clubs. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to set up a complete set of clubs, left handed, for $150.00 or less.

Does anyone on here know anything about Tommy Armour clubs? I found these for my friend but I'm not familiar with them.

back in the winter I assembled a set of lefty clubs for my oldest daughter, everything came off GG & total spent including shipping was under $130. Snagged a real nice Cleveland driver, mismatched set of fairway woods & hybrids. had to go with a mens set of irons since lefties for women are either pricey or non-existant. The bag was brand new & was a hell of a lot better than I had expected it to be.

Well, the price limit and time constraints he gave me made it pretty tough. He will be in town this coming weekend and wanted to play a round. Then to make matters worse, when I told him some of the clubs I was looking at and that they were used he kind of freaked. He wanted new if at all possible. So he ended up with a set of Hippo Pro Plus CB irons, a 2004 Big Bertha 3 wood, a set of Watson Adams wedges and a Tommy Armour Blade putter? And a Datrek cart bag and oh yeah, a McGregor McTech driver. Not exactly a ho'ing job I'm proud of, but he has a set of clubs.

Hey, for that price range, that's a darn good job. Definitely a serviceable set for someone learning the game.

Thanks, like I said, I wasn't exactly proud of it, but I had to move fast to try and get them here by the weekend. He is so excited to have a set he would have been happy with a set of kiddy plastic clubs I think,

Knowing my friend, he has a rather addictive personality, he will be totally hooked on golf in less than a month and ho'ing clubs in no time anyway. These won't be around long. So it wouldn't have mattered what I got him regardless.
