Lost my head today

Well, anyway the Ping S59 PW head came off on my shot to the green and went into the woods somewhere... I could NOT find it with all the leaves on the ground. So I've got a nice shaft but no PW.

Dayum! I may not be a Ping lover but that sucks.

Hopefully you will get a chance to look some more and find it. Either that or some kid in Racine will be using it as an "awesome" hood ornament.

mmmmmmm a dirty brown and black iron head among a bunch of dead leaves in the woods. If it were nice shiny chrome club maybe you could find it.

It's no big deal. I'll just get a Ping wedge to replace it....

Couldn't have happened to a better.... Pitching Wedge. You must be taking steep divots these days.

You were probably looking for it too far forward in the trees, back up 30 yards and look again

Got you beat on this one! Sunday was on a par 3 sitting about 145 over water got out my 9 iron took a good cut at it did not even take a deep divor or anything then the club got a lot lighter all of a sudden and then SPLASH!!!!! My shot ended up about 5 feet off the green! was pretty pleased with that and pretty pissed about my club. But i guess that just means it is time for us to upgrade right!!!

Know anyone with a metal detector? Assuming Ping still uses metal in their clubs.

Yeah, part serious, part smartass.

I'll bet if you send the shaft to PING along with a repair form and a sob story, they will put a new head on it for free.

But I 2nd the metal detector idea.
