Bloody pull

Ok, so I have now developed a pull. I know that my swing path is out to in, and the face is square(ball starts left and stays left, but straight). Do I need to work on concentrating on making sure that I 'pull' my right arm into my right side on the downswing(to help keep the arms from crossing the line to the outside) or is there something else I need to look at. I am kinda struggling with this right now. If I can not get it sorted out here pretty quick I may need to go back to my teaching pro to get it worked out.

Does this make me look fat? No, but your 50 pound belly does.

Re: Bloody pull

I tug my irons like that from time to time. It helps me to keep my arms connected with my chest and turn through fully.

For me, I think flexibilty and analysing your body can make a huge difference.
Sometimes I can get out of balance, and just standing with my arms out to my sides like an airplane I can be aimed left. If it gets really bad it takes a bigger effort to swing out.

Do you mean you have a good short game because you drive the ball 200yards?

Re: Bloody pull

Setup??? OTP????----Grip????Take away too inside??? Reverse C???? Not maintaining spine angle???? Lots of faults possible without seeing your swing.

For me I try to visualize my swing plane. The hula hoop vision. Take a swing and hold the finish. Now reflect on how you got there and what type of swing plane it resulted in. If it was a pull its probably rotated to the counterclockwise (righty). Again reflect on changes you like to try to get it centered. Repeat. etc.

That is probably the big part of it. I need to work on taking the club away on what feels like a more outiside path. I was trying to get my left shoulder(right handed golfer here) turned more 'under' me to fix one little fault I had with my swing, and I may have overdone it.
