Take a sabbatical for Labor day? Ezra is MIA, hopefully not in jail. WBL. Rock, etc etc are all strangely silent.

It has been a fairly quiet last few days. Ez is posting less and less, I did notice that. I think he started a new job though, thought I saw that in a post somewhere. Rock posted a few times this morning but it has been quiet. I figured it was a combination of the holiday weekend and my being home when I should have been playing....

Been in the mountains for the weekend.. Home again, and firing up the grill, put some filets on and some other things, and relax with a nice cold one.

Got a tee time in the AM.. Playing on a weekday morning is unfamiliar for me.

I shot a 63 today with no doubles, course it was on a par 3 course but i'm still happy with 9 over.

Wife and I played a scramble today and yesterday (I'm tired of getting beat). Shot 77,79 but both days only one of us was playing well. We were doing pretty well today, until we took a tripple bogey on our island green hole. Went in the back bunker, then both of us caught thin bunker shots and went across the green into the water so we took a drop back in the bunker again, and both hit crappy bunker shots again. We suck at bunkers.

Tee Time is for 11:09 tomorrow, gona have to play my own ball as we are paired up with some other people. Hopefully I dont go in a bunker.

Bunkers aren't that hard if you already know how to hit fat wedge shots. Just do that.

Seriously, just knock a nice cupful of sand out from under the ball and you'll hit servicible bunker shots. Also, don't be afraid to accelerate the club through the shot. Kind of like "striking a match" under the ball.

Just got back from Jerry's Olde Town Inn. Awesome ribs. And my mom picked up the check for my birthday. Gonna go cut into a Key Lime pie for dessert now.

Golf Truism: A 35 ft. putt is the easiest putt in golf when it's for a double bogey or higher.

For some reason, I bought another friggin' club, that I DIDN'T need.

I'm getting off the computer before I go broke. Gotta get my head together so I can keep it under 90 tomorrow.
