Thread: My best 9... again.

    My best 9... again.

which comes on the heels of a couple of real shitty rounds so this one was welcomed with open arms. Just one of those days where everything seemed easy. On the first par 3 my buddy and I caught up to a 4some and they had already hit. They waived us on to tee off and were standing on the fringe of the green. I stuck my 7I to five feet from 167yds and proceeded to birdie. Kept the driver in play with an average of 250 or so all day. Was hitting towering spot on draws all day with the irons. Couple of small miscues, but nothing that couldn't be recovered from. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not bragging because like I said, I shot a couple rounds in the low 50's in the two weeks leading up to this. Granted those rounds were played in wet, wind, and cold, but seriously..... how does one shoot 52 one day and 40 a couple of days later? WTF? This fact is what gives me the highest respect for pros. they can shoot mid 70's or lower on hard tracks almost any time.

Thats awesome. Must have felt good to put that tee shot to five feet in front of that audience I bet.

Golf is weird, everyone, including the pros have ups and downs.
    I'm confused!
Do you mean you have a good short game because you drive the ball 200yards?

We know you're not bragging nututhugame. The posts that brag are easy to see because they have no purpose other than "hey, I'm great". Congrats on the round.

P.S. Looking forward to you also "shooting mid 70's or lower on hard tracks almost any time". When you do, please can I be your caddy??

Good round. Shooting like is the most frustrating though. I hate going 80 one day, and 92 the next, on the same course.

It's no different than one day, your hitting like crap, and get 170 from you 5 iron, and then the next day, you pound it 190 and fly the green into the lake.

Golf sucks i dont even know why i play anymore, practice until i have blisters, everyday
practice, practice and play about once a week. i go to the driving range and talk to folks that say they're shooting in the 80s and im killing there drives, my chipping is better than theres my putting is better and there asking me for tips. on my best days im in the hi 90's
somtimes in the 100s and these guys hit the ball like my sister. they chunk, hit thin chilli dippers and im like wtf? how are these dudes shooting 80s? maybe im being to honest with the score card?
