iron swing or fairway wood swing....

apparently it's against one or more of the Laws Of The Universe for me to have more than one of the above at the same time. If somehow I did manage to decently hit all of the clubs in the bag in one round of golf or range session, it would probably cause:
1- a black hole to appear nearby, or
2- spontaneous combustion, or
3- cold fusion, or
4- whirled peas.

I give up.

Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

Spontaneous combustion sounds like fun...

Maybe just try and think about how you are set up to the ball. The actual swing doesn't have to be "different" if you set up correctly. Fairways lend themselves to a more sweeping swing and irons to a more descending swing jsut by the way they are built. I'd go crazy trying to make "different" swings on normal shots.

Only because you like grilled brats and are too damned lazy to build a fire.

"Here, pack these brats in your golf bag. While we're playing, if Doc accidentally hits a good shot and spontaneously combusts, we can have a cookout."

Re: iron swing or fairway wood swing....

I hear eating lots of whirled peas about an hour before your round is really good for your swing. Try it and report back, doc!

Re: iron swing or fairway wood swing....

I've said the same thing before, Doc.

Some days I'm just striking my irons and wedge so pure and with ease, but I struggle to do anything more than just low punching my woods.

I was in my set up, and my mode of swing thought.
