it might have some insight for you. The thread was all about puring contact, and mentions a few people struggling with the
Hogan Pronation Requirement. What I think you'll find, in a nutshell, is that when you try to consciously pronate at impact, you lose clubhead speed, perhaps because your arms/hands are fighting one another. Dunno really, what seemed to click for me, was making sure I was swinging both hands/arms through the ball, rather than leading with either the left or the right...another Hogan statement as well, btw. I found that most of my issues with poor ball contact arose from too little involvement of the left side in the swing. Did wonders for my driving too, btw.
