Piece of crap club! Stinking dog dung fairway wood that isn't even real wood! Betraying bitch of a slicing, pulling, toeing machine!

I'm sick and tired of it. This game is too friggin complicated and anyone who makes it look easy should be shot!

He must have shot about 130.

I have little sympathy though, at least he can play. I'm stuck in the frozen north.

I think sometimes I live in dread fear of a day like that, where I would regress back to my primitive golfer state, and lose all the progress I've made to where I'm shooting under 100 almost every time out.

Yep, he'll be back out on the course by next weekend.

The internal fire of a true golfer always burns. It dies down, but it never extinguishes.

At least tell me the beer girl was attractive!?!

A 106 to be exact, on a course where I shot a 100 in a windstorm the week before.

Had 3 snowmen, and I haven't had any of those in months. I'd hit a beautiful drive, and then chunk my approach or pull it into the woods.

I think I'll quit playing for a while and just go to the range, until I can actually hit a ball consistently.

And I couldn't putt: had 5 3putts. And 1 4putt.

There was no beer girl: it was 45F and raining, which was part of the problem. The GD beer girl was home being stupped by her boyfriend.

The fairways are coming out of the bag. The 2h is going in.

Good stuff there on club throwing. I always knew Henry Longhurst was one of the good guys.

I was much to feeble yesterday to throw a club. I dropped my driver in disgust, however, after a ricochet nearly got someone on the next hole.

Cold, rainy day..a 10% spike isn't unusual. If a pro shoots 77 instead of 70, that's the same 10%.

Just a minor bump in the road, an anomoly. Ignore & have a beer.

Or even better, it's a great excuse to buy another club. OB'll agree with me.

This is a great post. Just total rage-aholic! LOL x10!

Don't worry about it, Doc. The next round, there's gotta be something waiting for you out there. Members bounce off a tree, sprinkler head drive, the almighty ace perhaps? You just never know in this game...

I guess I will be leary to mention that it was a high of 41F here, and I got to play for the first time in 2 months. A little helpful advice that I guess they don't teach the warm weather folk, when its 40* you don't need a beer girl or even ice, the beer stays cold just fine in the back of the cart. You can't touch the BG if your married anyways, besides, she only wants to take your tip money and get back to her boyfriend, so it only provides unneccesarry tension that will f up your golf swing, thereby needing more beer to loosen up. More BG, More tension, need more beer it is a viscious cycle, more tips. I guess you are basically paying someone to f up your golf game in a sense.

I had a really lousy year of golf last year, only breaking 90 twice, once in May and once in October, after the prior 3 years shooting consistently in the 80's, and even the 70's on occasion. I blame it on the beer girl. So knowing that I got 4-5 more inches of snow this morning, I can't help but rub salt in your wounds, having not been on a course in 2 months I had an 88, and played better than I did all of last year with exception to lousy putting. Sorry.

At least I will be in Orlando the first of Feb, I had been almost dreading the trip thinking it may have been my first time out, but now I can't wait.

Just think of all the money you saved on tips.

Sunday(off work): 45F and raining.
Tuesday (at work): 60F and sunshine.

What's up with that? Is God testing me or something? Is His next command that I sacrifice one of my clubs? Do I get to pick which one?

And now I have the flu again. Yuch.

Yeah, it's supposed to be 50 and sunny here today. Bit painful to pass it by on the inside of a building. But the longrange forecast for the weekend is promising, and so far, here in southeast PA, it's been a rather easy winter. All the cold air is bottled up in Russia it seems.
