My Swing is Like....

Attachment 1479

I started playing a little over 2 years ago. I never took a lesson and was unsure of how exactly the correct swing was supposed to be executed. I learned that just about everyone has their own unique swing. I modeled mine after Adam Scott. I liked the powerful look of his swing and I am 6'1" 170lbs. so we are similar in build. My stance is perhaps a bit wider and I collapse my left knee a bit more. I still keep a video of his swing on my computer and watch it when I feel I am getting off track.

Whose swing would you say yours is similar to?

Me. I've never seen myself swing a club, and if I did I'd probably regret it.
I modelled my putting stance on Jack Nicklaus, but my swing is just whatever happens.

I would be really afraid to see my swing, I already have enough thoughts going through my head. If Adam Scott were to putt on 70 pounds and let his body go to cr@p, I may model my swing after him. Until then, maybe a compact John Daly swing is more like it, although I am probably in better shape than Daly. Maybe Hal Sutton or Mark O' Meara is more like it.

I too model my putting nature after Jack Nicklaus.

My swing most closely resembles a rusty gate.

My swing closely resembles Ben Hogan's.

One month after he was hit by the Greyhound bus.

Yeah, I think just about any swing is compact compaired to Daly. But I have the look going. Beer in one hand, Cheap cigar in the other, wonderful physique. Then again, I have a compact swing except with my driver, so when teeing off with my driver, people are probably begging for my autograph until they realize that Daly doesn't hit snap hooks 60 yards down the fairway and into the woods.

I must swing like tiger woods, cause I usually pump my shots right, but if they don`t go into the next fairway, i usually am not bad at recovering.
