From a quick glance (and the opinion of an admittedly shitty golfer), I'd give it to the first guy. Fluid, seemingly good mechanics (without looking too hard).

Second guy seems to lack coil, third guy seems pretty armsy. None of them were "bad" though, you just asked who was best.

First golfer looks best.

Second golfer is all hands on the backswing.

Third golfer has decent mechanics that are sabotaged because he stands way too close to the ball.

Definitely the first guy, most fluid looking, used his body to make a decent coil, I thought. The other 2 were rather armsy.

the first guy has to win by a mile.
The second guy just picks the club up with his hands and the third guy has no chance of making a good swing when he's standing that close to the ball

1st guy: Used a 9 iron and was short, around 15 yards, at the base.
2nd guy: Same.
3rd guy: used an 8 iron and landed about 10 feet pin high to the pin.

I'm the last guy in the blue shirt. I'm working on trying to stay down through the shot. I get that way when my tempo gets too fast. I'm sure I'm wrong here but it reminded me of Justin Leonard..ha-ha

I'm going to disagree with the masses and say the 2nd guy has the best swing. (based on the camera angle we are provided)

He makes the best turn in my opinion.

It's really impossible to tell from this angle much at all about these swings.

Next time, get right behind the subject

Here's my take:

#1: Has the best fluidity
#2: Has the best tempo, but does a weird thing on the back swing that seems to get on another plane
#3: Has the best looking legs.

Chap Number 1) Not too shabby at all. I doubt he is a big hitter but it's a worth while sacrifice for such an easy, fluid and repetetive swing. I also like the little forward press of the hands to start the swing. On the down side he does sway into the ball a little which i suspect on an off day makes him push it right. I'd give him 7.5 out of 10.

Chap 2) The very first thing he does is straighten both arms a fraction of a second before moving the club, then as the club gets parallel with the ground his right arm completely collapses and he almost bounces the club shaft off his shoulder. I used to know someone who did exactly the same and timed it so well that he hit a mighty ball with a nice draw plus he used to pinch the ball against the turf like nobody I've ever seen. It is a very repetetive swing which would be very difficult to change if he wanted to improve, but not everybody does. Hmmm? 6/10.

No 3) WOW! That swing is flawless, best I've ever seen, well done that man!

Right, that's enough of the ass kissing (I'm even using your vernacular now that I'm spending loads of time on here, "arse kissing" for those of you from this side of the big puddle)

I don't think that the waggle that you precede the swing with does you any favours as you fold your wrists with the club face shut slightly when you do it and you then proceed to do similar at the start of your swing. It's impossible to make out but I think that your club face will probably remain closed at the top of your swing (face pointing to the sky instead of at 45 degrees). That all sounds dramatic but you are not far off a very good swing. I think the main thing holding you back is weight transfer as you are very static and instead of transferring the weight onto your left foot on the downswing and into the ball you stay centred and rotate around yourself which must cost you lots of distance. Easy fix though, try chasing the ball a little down its path with the club head after impact for a higher finish. I've never seen a swing so easy to make very good, let me know if you give it a go please.
