Alright guys this is getting addicting..editing that is..I put it in slow-mo this time..I actually like the 2nd frame I noticed my buddy caught the ball landing on the green..something to gawk at:

Mr. 83

Mav,

Do you try and play a 10 yard draw? The hands forward and closed/shut face of that 7 iron leads to believe so.

Good vid tho.

Just curious, but you're pre-shot routine, why no arms? Is that a reminder or something? I've never seen anyone just use their wrists like that. No offense, just observing.

No..not at all..I actually try to hit it fairly straight but end up with a slight draw..I think my slightly open stance probably negates the amount of draw though..almost straight..as far as the wiggle-waggle goes..it's just to keep me loose before my back swing and serves no other purpose..

Maverick, I like your toe-waggle on your tee shots.

Nice video and captioning, BTW.

The hook is probably negated a little by playing the ball so far back in the stance, giving less time to square the face. This does, however, make it harder to clear the hips properly, as you illuded to in your captioning.

Nice vids, dude.

Very interesting set-up and release.

You seem to set-up with the ball back in your stance and the face closed off a little (looks that way from your wrist waggle)

You then have a very low finish. I hit shots like this when I am trying to hit 3/4 shots or keep the ball down. I usually hit big draws/hooks when I do this though.

Doesn't everyone play the ball back from their PW on down? I play the ball on my 7i dead straight middle and then adjust forward for the longer irons and backwards for the shorter irons..is this wrong? I usually play my SW toward my right heel..dunno..it's been working for me for the last few years.

Yeah, I'm trying to work on getting a higher finish..think Colin..think Colin.

Yikes, Colin is a little extreme Maybe think Norman instead

Very Cool!

Pretty slow swing speed though.
