First time ever...

Went out yesterday and scored my first EAGLE ever. I was pumped. The wind was definately helping. It's nice when you can hit driver/PW to 15 feet on a par 5. It was nice to finally card an eagle.

My game is still terribly inconsistent. Tuesday I carded a 106 (very similar to Ezra's round). Yesterday was night/day difference. We went around a 9-hole course twice and I carded an 86. 20 stroke difference in two days.

Stupid game.

Congrats on the eagle. I have never made one... and I don't see it happening at this "new home" course of mine. I don't even bother trying for the par 5's in 2, the bunkers guarding them are very nasty. I just try to layup inside of 120. I went again today, in the wind and rain, managed a 99. I was temted to play the whites but I am a glutton for punishment. I blew a lot of strokes on the front with the short game and a lot on the back with crap drives. I've hardly brought this bitch to her knees but getting under 100 is a start. Next week I'll play my "old home", breaking 90 should be no prob. there.

congrats, eagles are fun

I made my first eagle from a decent distance yesterday. After eagling the par 4 4th on wednesday, i dropped a wedge yesterday from about 50 yards on the par 4 1st. It was tiger-esque, i hit it, knew it wa close, started walking to the green, then it dropped

Well I can't even imagine myself getting an eagle, I am just so far off, but I have plenty of time so hopefully one day.

Good job on sinking yours, hopefully you will get a few more after that.
