Yes, you're hitting it on the toe.
Try hitting it in the middle.

If you are hitting the toe

You are likely to far away, heel would be to close. This may not be the problem but you can try it.

Just really keep your eyes focused on the ball the whole time, you may be just losing your focus and mishitting.

I doubt that it is a major problem in your swing, so just try out different stances and see if you can work it out.

Hitting of the toe is usually something to do with your setup your either
1) standing to far away and therefore the only part of the club that can hit the ball is the toe.
2)standing to close and you are over correcting during your swing which would mean you either hit off the toe or you miss the ball and hit yourself.
either way post a video of your swing on here and we can tell you whats going wrong.

This may not apply to you and may be as simple as moving closer to the ball. This was the issue for me a while back, but I was more concerned with my pull hooks and not hitting off the toe. May be worth a shot, but a video or lessons may be of more value.

Pulls and Pull Hooks – Cause and Fix
Golf Magazine Feb 2006 Page 64
Find where you are missing ball. If your Misses are off the toe, you’re hanging back on your right foot at impact and not rotating your body through the shot. Once your body stops, the clubface closes down and the result is either a pull or pull-hook. To remedy this, place a towel under both of your armpits and take a few practice swings without dropping the towel. Focus on moving the grip end of the club with your belly button. This will synchronize your arms and body and make those pulls disappear.

So that's the 19th hole...

Anyway, just wanted to try a little positive input instead of clowning around in your thread Cody. I suppose it takes me roughly 5000 swings to get back into my "normal" groove at the beginning of the season. If you have been hitting a lot of balls and most of them are off the toe, then you are probably doing something majorly wrong with your swing. (either that or you just sit there hitting 700 balls off the toe, which I doubt) If this is just a random thing then I would suggest a little experimenting with ball position and stance. Golf Magazine just had a great section on ballstriking last month, I got a lot out of it. You may want to see if it is still out and pick up a copy. It's April 06 with Phil and Tiger w/green jackets at the bottom.

My guess is you are going from outside to in and cutting across the ball and contacting the toe. Try to adjust your swing so you are coming inside out.
