this Hacker played a shot that a lot of Pro's couldnt make

I went to Glenmore park Golf course today (In Western Sydney,Australia)

I played the back 9 of a 27 hole course twice and scored 60 both times going around..

on the 27th being a hacker it took me 4 shots on a par 4 to reach the outskirts of the green

this green was a tricky one with a high slope
anyway I just wanted to brag that I got my PW and chipped from 15 metres

as the ball was rolling on the green I stood on my toes to see where it was going and to my hacker luck I sunk it for a bogey

best thing ive ever done in my career as a hacker

ALSO I just wanted to add
the reasons why I played like a hacker today

1. they had the Sprinklers on with all the Tee's on the back 9 and I had to contend with that

2.I had wet feet

Yep, no arguments there. How are you meant to be able to focus and play a good round with those kind of distractions.

Oh yeah, congratulations on the shot, whether you did it on purpose or not it still feels good.

I was playing a local course with a friend. We were both standing on the green. I was aiming up a putt when I heard this funny noise and heard the sprinklers fire up. lol we both ran off the green. lol

the only time the sprinklers worked to my advantage today is when I played an iron shot from the rough and the ball bounced off the sprinkler head and fell short of the green

that was the only time I liked the Sprinklers

I had one for birdie Sat. evening that had me dancing around. I could hear David Farhety as I entered the trap. "He'd be lucky just to get it to stop on the green". The pin was about 8ft off the fringe, steep downhill, the kind of putt you would just hit like a 2footer and it goes 12. Out of the bunker is a 5ft. high shot if you don't want to hit the next one out of sand too. I opend up the face on the 54* wedge and flopped it perfectly onto the fringe. It rolled right at the stick, hit and dropped. I love that sound. Funniest thing about it was I rake the trap and proceed to grab my putter. "Oh yeah, I said as I smiled, what do I need this for".

Sweet. I'll throw in a story like ezras though. Joined up with a threesome of old guys for a few holes yesterday. One hole is a 290-yard par 4 with an elevated green. I pulled my drive a bit, but i was pin high off the green. I grabbed my llob wedge from the cart and walked up to my ball. Before i hit, the guy who had mybag on his cart grabs my putter and starts to bring it over to me. I told him i wasnt planning on using it. He kept walking though, so i grabbed the putter but told him i was gonna chip in for eagle. And i did. The impressive part wasnt so much the chip, maybe 45 feet and not too much break, but that i told the guy i was gonna chip in, then actually backed it up. Plus it was an eagle, which is always cool

I wish my chip in was for an eagle
but it was a good recovery so I didnt have to end up 2 or 3 over for the hole because my putting lets me down
