Post SHANKS????? AT THE WORST TIMES

OK im a pretty decent golfer. Im about a 10 handicap. Now its rare that i ever get shanks on the course but for some reason i always get them when i dont need them. I went to the local PRO GOLF DISCOUNT and was going to go try out a bunch of new irons. My Cleveland TA3s are awesome but i looking for a blade to up the workability. So i step in there golf simulator, you know the one where you feel like your going to nail the top of the box with the club, with a Cleveland CG1 6 iron and start shanking the hek out of it. I probably shanked a good 20 or 25. So then i switch to the CG4 and shank that for about 5 mins. Finally, after they have closed, i stop shanking. I switch back to the CG1 and hit it great. Thats one good club. But yah whether im being watch by a hot girl or swinging infront of the guy at the local store i always get the shanks. What the Hek.

I do thesame thing. ... But I almost always suck.. I find a lot of simulators to crammed up too. I'm a leftie, and at the golf sim near me.. the computer for the simulator is directly behind me... an yways, it always gets in my head... I'd say it causes a stance/posture issue, and makes me take the club up to quick in my head anyways.....

Chris.

Ha! I love blades
If you really want to invest in blades, get a good forged set.
I don't really like the CG1, even compared to the TA1 which are "form forged" (kind of cast...).
For good blades, get the Mizuno Mp-14, mp-33 or mp-37 (lower ball flight).
Titleist have an awesome set too, as McGregor. It all depends on the feel you'd like to get, and the shaft too.
I have a Metrilite PGA, quite nice, even though the ball flight is high.
