Best back nine ever

well I have been buried with work lately and not getting in the 72+ holes a week I have been accustomed to. So sunday I went out to just play, no expectations.
Front nine was a little ehh. the rough has gotten a lot higher with recent rains, and a 7:30 tee time had them soaking wet also. So how was my driving? Well, topped several drives and the thick wet grass usually put the breaks on the ball, leaving me at about the ladies tee. I took it in stride and just played to get back on the fairway, and with the rough so high and wet I was lucky to even get there.
But the irons played well and the putting was excellent. Finished the front with a 44.
At that point I totally forgot about the score and just went to strike the ball well. One shot at a time. after the round added the back up and had a 37!!!
One double bogey, one bogey, two birdies, the rest pars!! Total putts for the round - 29 Felt damn good

Very nice. It's always great to be able to recover from a poor tee shot and hold it together. Great score.
