the weird swing improves my game

that new swing which I said I started the use has helped my game

unlike all the other hackers I play with, my shots go straight and I avoid trees, sand and water, therefore I end up with a better score than them

I have banned my driver and woods, I strictly only use irons now, I got to aquire a 1 and 2 iron

getting my 3 iron tommorrow

sorry if this thread bores anyone, I need a place to brag about my improvement after having a sore back

Excellent! Always nice to hear improvement.

However, it's pretty much accepted that a driver is easier to hit than a long iron, so why the difference?

What?? For who? My clubs go from hardest to hit to easiest based on loft. Driver being the toughest, SW being the easiest. I've hit plenty of tee shots I wished I'd teed off with a SW but never a SW shot I wished I'd used a driver.

You, golfman, and I are exceptions. Ask WBL, majority of people can't hit long irons.

I find my irons easier to tee off with

I brought a 3 iron yesterday (and disposed of the 7 wood from the bag) so that is going to be my new driver until I get a 2 iron

Cool. Let us know how it works out. I got a lot better with my irons after losing the driver for a while. If I can start hitting the driver decent again next year I'll have the iron game to back it up and start going low... I hope. I am also debating a 3 and 4iron. I wish I had them with this set, it's going to be expensive to pick them up.

I got my 3 iron for 30 dollars on ebay

I know its a legit club because I picked the club up from the seller
he is a pro that works on a golf course in the Liverpool area (Australia)

I kind of wonder where he gets all these items because it was all in a shipping container

here is the iron I brought http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=014

and this is the sellers store http://stores.ebay.com.au/RAE-Pro-Shop

he has a deal going where you buy a whole set from him and throws in 10 lessons for free

He's got some pretty nice stuff, and your iron was a good deal, but kind of defeats the purpose on getting a set unless you're an Aussie.

ive already got a set of precept clubs, so I thought it would only make sense to get a precept 3 iron to go with them

but yeah I guess it would be no good for someone from overseas to purchase from an Australian store considering how much it would be to import them

im lucky because this guy only lives 30 minutes from me
if I didnt say I was going to pick the iron up, I would of had to pay another $20 for postage
