I felt like a stalker, watching from the woods. Then I had to duck, it was coming right at my head... What club are you swinging?

I don’t know what I'm talking about but I throw these gems into the mix.

-Looks to me like your really trying to hold the face open through, and after impact. Don’t be afraid to left the club close after you make contact. This might be casting you distance since you cant really get much club head speed if your trying to manipulate the club face..i think..who knows..

- and another small thing to think about would be to try and get your shaft parallel to the ground on your finish. Yours seems to point more towards were the ball was before you hit it. Try making a full, high finish with the shaft parallel to the ground and all your weight on your..left leg.

Like I said, I have no clue..i just know what works decently well for myself. Might wanna think about it..if not..I wont cry I promise.

Not a bad swing though bub..

I'm swinging a 7 iron and I normally break 80. I hit the 7 iron about 175 yrds with a draw so if I'm holding the club face open then there is something wrong with my golf balls. That said I appreciate your tips Canadian Guy.
I expect EG will be along soon to post his critique. All comments are appriciated.

Somewhat pathetically I was on it as soon as you posted but for some reason I can't view anything so you've had a lucky escape. I could just guess and be closer than some of the others on here though

Well I finally managed to view it but I'd have had just as good a view of you swinging if I just looked towards Scotland from my back garden, it's taken from miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiles away! I might be being very insensitive here, you may actually just be really really small

To know for sure what is going on you need a view from directly in front of you and one from behind looking down the line of the shot please. What I will say is that I bet you hit the ball very low and fairly straight which might make it difficult stopping wedges/bunker shots quickly.

I thought it looked good, Adam.

Very relaxed and fluid with a good weight transfer. I'm old and stiff, so I'm jealous.

Could use a bit more weight transfer, turn that upper torso more if you can.

Also, it got a bit lazy on the follow through. Whenever you want to work a ball you'll notice the follow through is as important to the ballflight as anything. I guess I'm trying to say, make a strong follow through and you might even get some more distance.

All in all though, it was a very nice swing and shows lots of potential, especially since oyu are so young.

Please...don't. Might get a different sort of crowd around here(besides Rock).

Actually I take back the shoulder turn, it looks pretty good. Just make sure you have a strong followthrough, i.e. Phil Mickelson.

All in all, I still work with my old high school golf team(coaching now), wouldn't mind seeing a couple more people with a swing like that out there.

That made my day, thanks Jeff. Especially as thats what I hope to do in a year or so, I'm booked in to the Nick Faldo academy next summer so I'll see where that can take me and my Uncle was responsible for getting Paul Casey into a college over your side of the pond so I'll see what he can do for me.

Break 80 consistently, never played on decent greens so putts bobbling offline adds quite a few strokes to my game.

Oh shoot, you should have no problem making a high school team. The only reason you wouldn't is if you go to a school of gorillas who know how to putt.
