Yesterday, the forecast for today was awful. Somewhat depressing considering how the clocks would turn back tonight, and when I woke up this morning, it was dreary.

Except that it began grow lighter and lighter and the clouds broke. I checked the weather forecast and found that the storm has accelerated faster than expected. Woo hoo!

Get to play after all.

I went out yesterday in 70 and sunny, that is freakish weather around here, the rain usually starts coming down in buckets by now. Late October is known to be wet and mild, about 50 degrees F. I was wearing a long sleeve shirt because while I knew it would be sunny, 70 degrees should have been gone when I flipped the calendar from Sept. to October.

Enjoy, your storm is sitting right over RI as we speak. I would be soaked head to toe just running out to the car. It's a downpour with lots of wind. It's an inside day for me. Surf the net, watch the tube and clean the apt. later on.

It was beautiful here too.... unfortunately my wife thought it was perfect for fall flower bulb planting.... I think this weekend is going to be good too, though, and she has already received notice..

To dig out the sod from 2 new garden areas in the back yard. We had the patio redone this summer and concrete edging put around the back lawn, necessitating (in her opinion, and that's the one that counts) the creation of a couple of new flower beds.

Besides... that's a question I would never consider asking her. Life is much simpler that way.
