All of a sudden....

I can't hit anything! Not even a 9 iron!

Jeez, I'm almost ready to put my clubs on Ebay. I hit 250 balls today and 240 of them stunk.

Crap.

Shake it off Doc, you'll be OK. I went to the range a few weeks ago (day the I spoke with the Pro actually) and hit mostly driver. At the end I was pretty wiped out and hit a couple dozen wedge shots with my 54. I cold $hanked 7 or 8 in a row. I'm talking ballmark on the friggen hosel, nasty. These things happen to most of us. Just be glad it was at the range and not on the 3rd hole of a Sunday round. Put it out of your mind, replace those thoughts with thoughts of the best shots you hit this year. I have my little "mental highlight reel", it helps me get through those bad swing spells.

before you sell anything please pull that shaft from your driver and ship it to me. I'm sure I could find a home for it somewhere.

Ya, You better put them on ebay, maybe you can take up knitting, or basket weaving. Or just wait until Tomorrow and everthing will be better.

I knew the ST buzzards would start circling as soon as I mentioned Ebay.

I'm taking my 983K with today as well as the 905T. One of them had better behave.

And I'm going to the range, not the course.

I went to the range Wednesday, everything was good but the driver. The driver was a slice, not a fade, a slice. It was being pushed and flying another 20 yards right. I ended up hitting another small bucket with it and just nothing went right.

I played on Thursday and hit 10/14.

It'll be okay Doc, just relax and have fun when it's not going well.

How about playing off 7, hitting 2/14 fairways, and 4/18 GIR? That was my round today. Pure Irish weather, playing into a river, 3 wood from 180 yards coming up 10 yards short, snap hooking everything bar putter, hitting PW 150 yards uphill, to be 20 yards long. I was lucky to save 85 I tells ya!

Another 250 balls at the range today. My back feels like a pretzel.

But this time I wore my Tour Tempo Player, and most of the shots were good. Or at least acceptable. Nothing like the crap I hit yesterday.

I'm happy.

You are nuts. I'm only 30 and hitting 250 balls would cripple me. This new Xflex is giving me a case of "golfers elbow".

Yeah, I'm nuts. Even Alex, the pro who owns the place and who used to work for Hogan, said "I'm surprised you only hit 2 Jumbo buckets".

You are kind of crazy doc. I hit about 150 with the driver sorting it out and woke up the next morning asking the gal for a message because I was sore. Well, that and I just wanted a massage.

I know the feeling. I played on Saturday and totally sucked. I couldn't hit anything off the tee. I tried 3 wood, hybrids, and irons off the tee and couldn't hit any of them. It was the worst round I have played since I first starting golfing.
