Tips for improving launch angle

Anyone have any tips on how I can improve my launch angle? Please don't say tee height either, I've tried extensive experimentation with that, not happening.

Of course hit the ball on the upswing, but try too visualize hitting the ball in an imaginary target higher directly infront of you. Widen your stance and play your ball further towards the target.

So like visualze hitting through a window 15-20yds. in front of me? I was cathcing decent toward the end of my range session but that's with a 10.5. I'd eventually like to be able to fully utulize the distance of an 8.5*.

You can hit a 13* club the same as a 8* club if you have the optimum launch angle, for most drivers today that optimum angle is 12-14 degrees.

I do something that my Pro says he's never seen before, but he told me to keep doing it as long as it works. Rather than address the ball with the club right behind it I address an imaginary spot about 2 inches behind it. My theory is that it forces the club to hit the ball on the upswing. Of course I've never taped it on to find out for sure. One thing's for sure though, If I put the club right behind the ball at address it's gonna result in poor ball flight.

Ive seen this before but didnt remember it. I have seen a couple of tour pros do this as well, some even address the ball on the toe or heel of the club.

The reason many pro's address the ball at the toe is simple. Take your normal stance/set up but dont sole the club. Instead hover it so the sweetspot is dead center with the ball. Now lower the club to the ground and see where it lines up. Right on the toe.

Not tee height, how about buy the right equipment?

If you have a fundamentally sound repeatable swing, it seems like you are trying to put a band-aid on an equipment issue. In the long run you may find yourself in a position where you no longer have a fundamentally sound repeatable swing, and a less than optimal launch angle. IMO, anything you do outside of tee height is likely going to have consequences on your swing, are you happy with your swing?

This also likely puts you in the correct position, you are supposed to slightly position your posture so that you have a slight spine tilt away from the target, yet maintain a strong lower body foundation. The setup you mention will take a straight setup and put you in the proper position with a proper tilt. I do the same thing you mention, then conciously tilt, which puts the club at the back of the ball. It gives me a consistent spine tilt with every shot

I caught my dad throwing the ball up onto the green one time. He was in a deep greenside bunker and you couldnt even see him in there. Me and my uncles were already on the green waiting for him to get on and I thought hell he might hit me so I went to the side where I can see him and I saw him throw the ball up. It was funny because him and my uncles would do anything to beat each other, they wouldnt even bother with me since I was a + handicap and they were like 15's and it was a major battle for 2nd place.

Too bad in 99% of cases, this isn't evident.

Go see a swing doctor. He'll/She'll be able to tell you more about your swing that not being able to hit a TP driver.

Hint: Try swinging smoother instead of harder for distance. It works.

If Ezra had a fundamentally sound repeateable swing he wouldn't be posting in the Hacker's forum. I don't think many people do.

It's very repeatable. I can hit a dozen OTT pulls in row, no problem.
