Unless you looked at my scorecard. Only partly cloudy and got into the upper 60s. Actually broke into a light sweat on the back nine. This was my first round of the year. Didn't have a tee time so expected to have a wait before I got on. Figured I'd have plenty of time to go to the range first....uh not...walked into the clubhouse only to have them say we're going to put you with these guys. They'll be teeing off next.
Well, for some reason, everything within 50 yards of the green was working well. That was a good thing. Had several chips and pitches within 12 inches. Problem was, I just couldn't get there. Was pulling everything left. Tried to aim further right to compensate...No good there either. Could not make myself aim far enough right.
Played fair on the front nine considering 2 lost balls. Got tired on the back nine and it got real ugly. I left there frustrated as all get out with my game, but really happy to have gotten out for the 1st time. Gotta go get re-acquainted with my irons at the range before my next attempt.
