Something strange happened to

something I was going to post. Dave had started a thread that concerned the possibility that Titleist might stop making golf clubs, etc, etc. A number of responses had been posted before mine. Well, the whole thing disappeared! I later looked in "my area" and clicked on "All posts by cypressperch." Well, all the missing posts are there. They just do not appear where they use to on the Forum.

As Frazier might ask, "What does this all mean?"

This all happened about the time the forum stopped working. Is this related to the problem with the forum going down?

I have posted numerous times with no problem, and I did not do anything different, so I have no explanation. (Not that I know enough about computers to explain anything anyway.)

If that was yesterday, there was some trouble on the back end. Sling got it back and running and we seem to be in good shape.

It's very rare that we would delete a post here, unless it was blatant spam. That's one thing we stand by around these parts, is a softer hand in dealing with issues. Very rarely (and I am guilty of that) do we have to make an "executive decision" and shut a thread down. But more than likely it because it is a hate-fest, name calling or other.

The posts should - should - be there now.
