I bought a 19" monitor for probably somewhere around $300 USD back in like...1998 or 1999 and I'm still using it to this day. I would LOVE to switch to 20" LCD at 8ms and high contrast ratio, but that'll have to wait awhile yet, I think. Starving student and all that.
