I was playing TW06 on my PS2 yesterday, holed a chip from the fringe of an island green, and as my character did his little celebration dance he managed to jump off the green and into the water...

Never seen that happen before! I must try and replicate it as often as possible now...

Sandy
I would love to see that! The obnoxious things they have the player do when they make a birdie or eagle putt are beyond me. Can you imagine what would happen to the green if some idiot spun around like they do once in awhile. Then getting ready to hit the driver they act like they're in a sand trap, stomping and digging in their spikes. Or taking a practice swing on a 5" putt. Duh. I can't believe the geeks that created this game ever played golf...

Speaking of TW2006, has anyone made a double eagle yet? I'm missing that trophy ball from my case.

Oh, and yesterday I made a 8 on a par 3. Putted the ball into the water hazard 3 times. It was a severe downslope and even though the ball didn't go entirely into the water, this game does not give you the option of playing it.

Several - to me they're harder to get than holes-in-one by a long way. In some cases it's easier to get holes-in-one on a par 4 than a double eagle.

The time I fell in the water he was doing the knee-spinning dance, and it span him across the fringe and off the edge - I was surprised that he actually went in, but it was hilarious to watch his head disappear over the edge of the green!

That's awesome. Did he actually fall into the water and make a splash?

Sadly not - as lildudejds says, it was just a glitch that took an absolutely perfect set of circumstances to occur. He just did a few spins on his knee and then disappeared off the back of the green. I imagine it's just a very funny progession of the programming issue that means sometimes bits of your character disappear below the surface of the green when you do celebrations.

Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen though, especially when the head finally disappeared over the edge!
