My simple man cover

I play bass in a small band with a couple of my friends. I had started when I was 13 and was in some small not serious bands (because I was 13) and quit till now (16 now) and I had completely forgot everything and had to relearn. So me and my guitarist made our cover of simple man in his basement, and yes I am aware I have antlers over my head, what else do you expect I live in Wisconsin. So heres a link, lmk what you guys think.

I thought it was quite fun :-) Personally, I'd have the guitar guy turn down the crunch a bit....way too overdriven and very thin sounding. Your bass sounded fine, even had me figuring it out here and playing along with you :-)

Peace, Bryan

Are you the one singing? i hope not.

IF it was you - then umm..it was ok

If it wasn't you - your partner is tone deaf and should not be singing lead in a band!!!!

I know how hard it is to sing and play, so I'm not going to rip on anything. You guys are doing just fine. Have fun and keep rockin' dude!

bass sounded good , although a simple riff . the guitar had wayy too much distortion though. get more into the song and be free. just rock out and not care what people think.

Yeah about my earlier comment. I wasn't trying to be harsh at all. The bass did sound good! I don't play guitar so i can't comment much on it. I was just sayin the singing was pretty off, but if you had fun who cares right?

Okay, I'm gonna be the critical one here...

Timing was way off between you two. Sounded like you were fighting each other. Practice with a metronome or a click track to get in the groove. Or better yet, add a drummer!

(played drums for 20 years, guitar for 7.)

Good advice there.

Thanks guys, lol no it wasnt me singing and yes he is tone deaf. He was just filling in until we can find a singer, we have a drummer but he wasnt able to make it and neither was our rythym guitarist. We did get off alot but thats probably because this was our 3rd time playing it together so we just got a little off without a metronome or a drum machine. WBL its my guitarists house up off of highway s if you know where that is near krakow, his driveway is a mile long and we constantly see deer just going up his driveway, that buck in the background was shot there.

Yep about 15 miles northwest from green bay, great place, small town where you know everybody, good hunting, fishing, and even some great courses near by.
