Talking My new "ride"

It isn't a Vette, a Porche, a BMW, or even Bravo's dream car..........but it's FUN!!! What kind of car does a 60 year old fart buy? 268 hp 6 spd manual, that's what. See pics below. Not only am I proud of it...........so is the bank.......like all my cars in the past. LOL.

That's a great ride Sssmokin. Sports car for the thinking man.

I had a 1991 Plymouth Laser Turbo (same car as the Eclipse) and it was an all-round great car. I'm sure the car has evolved quite nicely since 1991, so it should be even better. Hell, mine only made 200Hp and did 0-60 in 7.0 seconds (not blazing fast, but not bad at the time for the $$$), so that thing should be pretty quick. I love the body styling. Congrats.

Is it a naturally-aspirated V-6 or a turbo I-4? FWD or AWD?

I test drove a 2001 Eclipse Spider when I bought my 2001 Montero Sport. Fun little car, but too small for me and my stuff.

Plus, all my friends told me it was a chick's car.

I would love to have an Infiniti R35 sports coupe, if they still make them, but fitting the sticks inside is still a problem.

They make the G35 (two-door and four-door) and the M35 (4-door). Both are fine cars.

The R35 Skyline (I've dreamed of owning one) was never available in the US, but is coming, and will be the GT-R. Here's a link:

Buddy of mine has a 2001 or 2002 Eclipse Spider and loves it..plans to get a newer one soon. When he plays, he has to put his driver and 3 wood in the trunk seperately from his bag so they'll fit.

Razor drives a Ford F1150 with a V16 engine, the only truck so that it isnt afraid of him. I myself drive a 2001 Pontiac Firebird WS6 V8 in black, gets a whole 20mpg. Its a sports car but big enough that I have no problem fitting 2 sets of clubs in it.

Naturally-aspirated V-6, front wheel drive. With the 6 speed manual it hauls ass pretty good.

Actually Razor drives an F-150 for work, and has a restored 64 1/2 Mustang with the small block V-8 and 4 speed for fun........has a lift kit and big tires on back ...........pretty cool. Not a muscle car or anything, but nice.
